Written by Best, Grade 5 Student: The experience was hard, trying to agree and think of ideas. But while we were arguing and disagreeing, that brought us close. Because sharing our brilliant ideas, makes other people inspired, and if more people get inspired with brilliant ideas, the world as we know it would be a good place, so was it hard, yes. Would it get better? Probably. But we need to try or you’ll never get anywhere, So do your best.

Math and our Business

  Written by Sylvia, Grade 5 Caring Eagle Our experience with selling ornaments and math was very similar, because we had to find out what is the lowest cost for materials and packaging and much more. We had to add up costs to see how much money we would spend. We also have a bar graph to see how much we sell for each of our ornaments and a line graph to track our total sales. We also learned about credit card fees the different ways of paying for things. Overall there was a lot of math included in our experience.

Our Social Issue

To start off our program, we took some time to learn about the UN's Global Goals and the UN's Declaration of the Rights of the Child.  While there were many issues and goals that interested us, we took a survey and found that Global Goal #1, "No Poverty" was the one our class was most concerned about.
